Aarthi you can bake in cooker or kadhai..just put a stand for the cake and bake on low heat. Cover the cooker without the whistles and gasket. Baking in cooker and kadhai takes little longer time. Usually people add salt too but I do it without it.

I am baking cake 2nd time.
Please guide regarding baking in oven custard powder cake.
I have Panasonic oven where we have auto menu commands.
My question is – Can I use borosil container? Do they pose any risk in pre heating?
And do we need low racks for baking and can the borosil containers be placed on low rack? Please note my first cake took 5 minues without any racks using borosil container and the result was perfect.
Thanks for your patience.

Hi, came across this recipe on the eggless baking group on FB, timing was perfect as I wanted to utilize some extra custard powder I had on hand.
Tried it today evening and can’t believe how easy the recipe was and how awesome the results were ! Thanks a ton.
Only feedback for you would be to include description or video on what the batter consistency should look like, I got a bit stuck there as my batter was initially very thick. Decided to add a bit more milk to make it slightly thin, not knowing if that was the right thing to do..but turned out well.
Will look up your other recipes 🙂Loading...
