A foodie has shared a simple recipe to make overnight Weet-Bix tiramisu topped with yoghurt and chocolate powder for a perfect treat that's surprisingly good for you.

Miranda Brady, from Perth, posted a recipe videoto her 'Clean Treats' TikTok account and says you 'won't believe how good' the healthy tiramisu tastes'.

To make the indulgent treat, you'll need seven ingredients - Weet-Bix, coffee, yoghurt, cream cheese, protein powder, sweetener and water or almond milk.

In Australia, Weet-Bix is a popular whole-grain breakfast cereal that has been stocked on shelves for decades and is combined with milk and often topped with sugar.

In the short video, Miranda first crushes two WeetBix into a bowl and adds either one teaspoon of instant coffee or one shot of espresso on top.

Next she adds one tablespoon of either maple syrup or stevia and pours in 100 to 125 millilitres of boiling water or almond milk.

Miranda mixes everything together until combined and smooths the mixture out to form a base.

For the creamy filling she combines 130 grams of vanilla YoPro yoghurt and 30 grams of light cream cheese into a bowl.

How to make overnight WeetBix tiramisu:

Ingredients:

  • 2 WeetBix, crushed
  • 100-125ml Boiling water OR almond milk
  • 1tbsp Maple syrup OR stevia
  • 1tsp Instant coffee OR espresso shot
  • 130g Vanilla YoPro yoghurt
  • 30g Light cream cheese
  • 15g Vanilla protein
  • 1/2tbsp Maple Syrup OR stevia

Method:

  1. Crush two WeetBix into a bowl and adds either one teaspoon of instant coffee or one shot of espresso on top.
  2. Add one tablespoon of either maple syrup or stevia and pour 100 to 125 millilitres of boiling water or almond milk into the bowl
  3. Mix everything together until combined and smooth the mixture out to form a base.
  4. Combine 130 grams of vanilla YoPro yoghurt and 30 grams of light cream cheese into a bowl.
  5. Mix until smooth, adds 15 grams of vanilla protein powder and either half a tablespoon of maple syrup or stevia to the bowl.
  6. Smooths the filling over the base and dust the top with chocolate powder
  7. Place the tiramisu into the fridge to set
