Who should play Rogue in the MCU's X-Men reboot?
As development continues on the Marvel Cinematic Universe-set reboot of the X-Menfranchise, fans continue to voice their picks for who should play the iconic mutant superhero team, including Rogue. While some minds may gravitate to the likes of Jenna Ortega or Millie Bobby Brown for the role, I'd personally be intrigued to see Mckenna Grace's take on the character, as she's not only shown an incredible acting range in the recentGhostbustersmovie andA Friend of the Family, but also an interesting mix of introverted and extroverted personalities with her characters that I think would suit Rogue perfectly. Additionally, given the MCU has recast actors in the past, Grace's prior role as a young Carol Danvers could easily be a non-issue.

Has The Monsterverse become too Kong-focused?
Despite kicking off the franchise with Godzilla, the Monsterverse has steadily become more focused on Kong than any of the other monsters and Titans, particularly with Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and Skull Island on Netflix. As the franchise gears up to expand with a new movie, Monarch season 2 and Apple TV+ spinoffs, some are hoping for Godzilla to return to the focus, and I couldn't agree more. With each new movie, Kong has been fleshed out as a hero while Godzilla's ties to humanity have remained ambiguous, and it's time for him to get the same treatment.

Should Channing Tatum get his own Gambit movie?
Channing Tatum finally takes on the role of Gambit in Deadpool & Wolverine and fans are loving it, myself included. One of the best "cameos" of the movie, his performance is being prasied all over social media. I would love to see Channing return as Gambit, however it is hard to say when a Gambit movie would fit into the MCU's plans. After just this small taste of him, I cannot see anyone else in the role. He did a great job with the accent, and he looked incredible in the costume - not to mention those awesome action sequences. If he is not able to get his own movie, I hope he pops up along the way in movies like Avengers vs. X-Men (whenever we get it).

Will Wesley Snipes replace Mahershala Ali as the MCU's Blade?
Marvel Studios has delayed Mahershala Ali's Blade indefinitely, which means the movie will no longer premiere in November 2025, as it now has no release date. After appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine, many fans have been asking Marvel to ditch Ali's troubled Blade movie and bring back Snipes' version of the Daywalker. While I don't think Marvel will make Snipes the new Blade, there is a great chance that the actor will be back at least one more time during the Multiverse Saga. At 50, I think Ali could be recast with a younger star as Blade.

Who should take over playing Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare On Elm Street?
Robert Englund recently confirmed that he would not be playing Freddy Krueger in theNightmare on Elm Streetfranchise again in the future beyond a potential animated movie, leaving the door open for someone else to take on the role. Though the prior attempt to relaunch the franchise with the Jackie Earle Haley-led 2010 remake was largely dismissed by critics, Haley's performance has stood out as one of the few good things about it for me, and I would certainly be open to him coming back. If not, other people I think would be great are Englund's own secondary pick, Kevin Bacon, particularly as it would be a fun full-circle moment to see him go from slasher victim in the originalFriday the 13thto an iconic slasher, Richard Brake, who is often incredibly haunting in the indie horror genre sphere, or if they want to go in a more quippy direction as the later sequels did, I would love to see Doug Jones or Matthew Lillard.

Do you want to see Bill Skarsgård's Count Orlok ahead of Nosferatu's release?
New character posters have been released for the upcomingNosferatu, and yet Bill Skarsgård's Count Orlok has yet to get a proper full look. I personally hope that the studio keeps him completely under wraps until the movie's release, as it's clear that the design is going to be very different from that of prior versions, and I would love for it to be a surprise while watching it, especially if it's as horrifying as I think it will be.

Deadpool & Wolverinedelivered on a bit of fan-casting with Henry Cavill appearing as a multiverse version of Hugh Jackman'sX-Menhero. While it seems unlikely he'll reprise the role beyond the movie, fans have been sharing their thoughts on who Cavill should play in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since he made his debut as Superman in the DC Extended Universe'sMan of Steel. Though Captain Britain and Cyclops remain the more popular choices, I personally think it would be intriguing to see him either play Nova, particularly since there's a TV show in the works for the character, or even Mephisto, as I think he could both deliver on the Devil's power as much as evil charm.

While theFast and Furiousfranchise may have been his claim to fame, and most popular role, Paul Walker had a number of great movies he was a part of before his death in 2013. While I think 2006's Running Scaredmay be his most underrated movie to date, I think 2001'sJoy Rideis definitely my favorite, as it had a great Hitchcockian vibe to it and had a very tense pacing, with Walker and Steve Zahn also having great rapport as brothers.

What would be Avengers: Secret Wars' best superhero team-up?
Avengers: Secret Wars has the potential to feature a wide array of MCU and multiverse heroes. In order to defeat Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom, many powerful heroes will have to team up, and that could include some pairings that fans have been waiting to see for a very long time. The superhero duo I most want to see is Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man with Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, as the two helped set the path for future Marvel movies. I'd also love to see Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man with a Spider-Woman version of Emma stone's Gwen Stacy, bringing their chemistry back.

Should The Conjuring franchise continue after Last Rites?
The Conjuring: Last Rites was recently confirmed for a September 2025 release date. With the fourquel set to be the final mainline installment in the horror franchise, the interconnected universe's future remains in question, with no Annabelle or Nun sequels currently in the works, and the previously announced TV show getting no major updates in recent years, it seems like the end is indeed nigh. Despite the Nun's underwhelming storytelling, the Conjuring franchise should continue and offer other rising filmmakers the chance to shine, as Annabelle: Creation did with David F. Sandberg and the first Nun did for Corin Hardy.

Set photos from Ohio have revealed the best look yet at David Corenswet's Superman costume, as well as showing off a first look at his Clark Kent alterego, complete with curly hair. The Superman costume is still proving to be divisive, with some preferring Henry Cavill's sleeker design, and lots in favor of the old school comic aesthetic. But what do you think? Do the Man of Steel and his mild-mannered disguise look the part?

Is Dear Santa worth streaming?
Dear Santa is now streaming on Paramount+, as well as available to purchase on digital. If you have the streaming service, I definitely recommend checking this movie out. It is a fun holiday film that is equal parts funny and heartwarming. Jack Black is hilarious as Satan, which should come as no surprise to anyone who is a fan of his. A great movie for parents and teens/tweens - this is not for little ones - that teaches the true meaning of Christmas.

When will the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 trailer release?
After a two-year wait,Sonic the Hedgehog 3's release is finally right around the corner, currently set for a December 20 date, and yet no proper trailer has been released for the threequel by Paramount, save for a brief snippet of footage shown at CinemaCon in April. Though there is some concern this is pointing to a release date delay, I think it's more likely Paramount is saving the trailer to be released around the same time as Transformers One, given the prequel's family-friendly tone and leaving just enough time untilSonic the Hedgehog 3's arrival to build anticipation.

Could Zack Snyder’s Justice League movies continue in some form?
Zack Snyder has teased a theatrical event for fans to watch his Justice League movie. Despite the impending arrival of James Gunn's new DC Universe, there are still vocal fans who want to see Snyder finish his vision for the Justice League. While the campaign to get the "Snyderverse" on Netflix is unlikely to work, there is a more realistic way for fans to experience Snyder's plans for the Justice League sequels. Snyder has said that he would enjoy bringing his vision to DC Comics, and a limited series that concludes his Justice League plans could be a major success.

Should Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch appear in Doctor Strange 3?
Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch was the main villain of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. While it has yet to be confirmed, it is likely that Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange will at least conclude his Marvel Cinematic Universe trilogy, if not extend the franchise beyond it. Doctor Strange 3 could be the perfect movie to solidify the Scarlet Witch's redemption arc. Wanda Maximoff atoning for her sins while helping Doctor Strange after having fought him in the character's second film would be a great way to conclude the Scarlet Witch's current MCU story after her likely return for the next two Avengers movies.

What is your favorite song in Netflix's Spellbound?
Alan Menken wrote the songs featured in Netflix's Spellbound with longtime collaborator and lyricist Glenn Slater. Menken is a legend, so it should come as no surprise that the music in this film is pretty good. While some songs are more memorable than others, none of them are what I would call bad. There are two that stand out for me, however. First isStep by Step, which is sung by Rachel Zegler, John Lithgow, and Jenifer Lewis. It showcases Zegler's vocal skills and Lithgow adds in a bit of charm. My favorite song in Spellbound, though, is How to Break the Spell, performed by Nathan Lane and Tituss Burgess, who voice the Oracles. This song is catchy and fun, and got stuck in my head almost immediately.

With the upcoming release of Nosferatu, what is your favorite vampire movie?
Robert Eggers' Nosferatu is nearing its release date, but it is not the first vampire movie to come out this year. Over the course of the last few years, there seems to be a resurgence in bringing this iconic monster back to the big screen - and I, for one, am not mad at it. There have been so fantastic vampire films recently that are actually quite scary, but to be honest, I love a good horror-comedy. While I am certainly looking forward to seeing Nosferatu in theaters, my favorite vampire movie is one that came out this year as well - and that is Abigail. Still my favorite film of the year, this movie hit all the right comedic beats for me, while still delivering on the blood and jump scares. It is a fun addition to vampire lore. Perhaps it is just recency bias, but Abigail sits at the top of my list among other great vampire movies like Interview With The Vampire, Blade, and What We Do In The Shadows.

Do you think Daniel Craig will get an Oscar nomination for Queer?
A new trailer for Luca Guadagnino'sQueerhas arrived just ahead of the movie's theatrical release, and shines a pretty big spotlight on Daniel Craig's performance, all but guaranteeing A24's looking to campaign for him to get a Best Actor Oscar nomination. It's been a pretty big year for acting, with many predictions calling for Timothée Chalamet inA Complete Unknown, Adrien Brody inThe Brutalist, Colman Domingo inSing Sing, Ralph Fiennes inConclaveand Paul Mescal inGladiator IIto get the nominations. Personally, while Russell Crowe may have won the award for Ridley Scott's original historical epic, I kind of think Mescal will be looked over come awards season, which could leave the door open for Craig to get nominated.

Are you going to be watching Below Deck Down Under season 3?
Below Deck Down Underseason 3's first sneak peek has been released, and while some were skeptical about the idea of the show without Chief Stew Aesha Scott, it appears the season is going to be a good one. While I was skeptical about the season, I'm looking forward to it after the most recent sneak peek. Seeing more of Captain Jason Chambers and his new crew is going to be exciting.

Were you happy to see Emma Crouch's time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht come to an end?
Below Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5's Emma Crouch was fired from Parsifal III in the most recent episode, and though she's been working hard to improve, she couldn't continue her time with the crew. While I was hopeful Emma would be able to find herself improving, seeing her being terminated made sense to me for the show, and I'm hopeful she could come back in the future.
