While The Flash season 9 marked the conclusion to the Arrowverse's Earth-Prime line of shows, the franchise is properly coming to an end in 2024. The Superman & Lois series finale is titled "It Went By So Fast," and was written by co-showrunners Brent Fletcher and Todd Helbing, with returning director Gregory Smith helming the final installment.

Superman & Lois season 4, which is confirmed to air sometime in the fall, will have fewer cast members returning, as seven series regulars were cut in order for the renewal to go through. Michael Cudlitz's Lex Luthor will be a full-time cast member in Superman & Lois season 4, seemingly serving as the final big bad of the series. Superman & Lois season 4 will still reportedly include the cut cast members, but in a more limited capacity.

While plot details are being kept under wraps, Tulloch has teased that there will be some . New DC faces will still be showing up in the final season, though, as Jimmy Olsen has been cast, with Douglas Smith playing the iconic photographer. Amanda McCoy, who will be portrayed by Yvonne Chapman.
